Start from gallons and minutes, not horsepower
Transfer pumps are sold by published gallons per minute. Motor horsepower alone does not tell you whether a 55-gallon drum will fill in three minutes or ten. This site maps tank_gal ÷ fill_minutes to three verified VEVOR US classes.
Why fuel type matters on this screen
Some 10 GPM kits are diesel/kerosene oriented. FuelGPM therefore starts gasoline jobs at the 15 GPM gasoline/diesel class. Example: 55 gal / 6 min ≈ 9.2 GPM → diesel matches 10 GPM; gasoline matches 15 GPM. Required flow above 20 GPM returns NO_MATCH.
Compatibility, bonding, and sparks
Confirm the listing’s published fuel list before pumping gasoline, diesel, kerosene, or blends. Bond/ground metal containers; no smoking or open sparks; work outdoors or in strong ventilation; use PPE. This is not a retail fuel-sale meter.
Safety rules this screen never relaxes
Confirm fuel compatibility and live GPM on the nameplate. Bond/ground. No sparks. Ventilate. Ratings are manufacturer claims — verify the live listing. Affiliate tracking is pending. A matched class is not a dispensing plan.
